Online Real Estate Training - Industry Info from eLearners.com

Online Real Estate TrainingWhen it comes to housing, the majority of Americans own rather than rent. 69% of Americans own their home, according to the American Housing Survey of 2005. 21.3% of all homeowners pay $1,500 or more in monthly housing costs.

According to a recent USA Today article: "The national median sales price for an existing home" will be "$218,800 this year."

Imagine if you sold homes and you worked at 6% commission. You would make an average of $13,128 per home that could sell. For those that are able to earn a degree and work in the field of real estate, they can earn much more in the long run.

Great post!  My Mom has her Real Estate License, but doesn't practice.  Unfortunately she didn't try to get it online or anything, and had to drive out to class every few nights!

Greetings and salutations, I am your friendly neighborhood Content Director here at eLearners.com. (I am also mom to a seemingly tireless 4-year-old girl and owner to a cat that hates me. Oh well - can't win 'em all.)

I have a bachelor's degree in computer science from Rutgers College and am thisclose to completing my master's degree in instructional design from Western Illinois University later this year.
