Consider an Online Certificate instead of an Online Degree

Depending on how much time you have to continue your education you might want to consider a certificate program instead of a degree program. Some certificates can be completed in just a few months. For example, a Six Sigma certificate from Villanova University can be completed in about eight weeks.

A degree program can take several years to complete. A certificate is right for you if you are looking to get some extra training in a short amount of time. Since certificates are accredited programs, you might be able to qualify for tuition reimbursement from your employer especially since many certificate programs are geared towards business training that can help you be more efficient and add real skills to your company.

Also consider a Master Certificate in Business Marketing or a Business Essentials Certificate. Certificates look great on your resume. It will enhance your education and experience with your next employer, since they will see that you have the latest training from a top notch online program.

Many people in IT and business pursue certificate programs since they are fast, affordable and convenient, especially with online education. Begin your search for online certificate programs at eLearners.com today!

Can the courses I take as part of an online certificate program be counted later towards my online degree?

Probably not, especially if you attend a different college for the degree program. If you decide to attend the same college it might be transferable.

Greetings and salutations, I am your friendly neighborhood Content Director here at eLearners.com. (I am also mom to a seemingly tireless 4-year-old girl and owner to a cat that hates me. Oh well - can't win 'em all.)

I have a bachelor's degree in computer science from Rutgers College and am thisclose to completing my master's degree in instructional design from Western Illinois University later this year.
