The fall semester has finished for me at St. Petersburg College, and I have a few weeks to get ready for the next semester. I finished with two B's (as previously noted) and I'll have to be happy with those grades. My wife told me that I'm being too tough on myself about not getting a pair of A's, but I don't think so. I keep thinking that there was something I could have done to raise my grades enough to log a pair of A's, but that's water under the bridge.
So coming this January, I'll be taking my biology class and biology lab. I am hoping that this particular class will be nowhere near the complexity level that was my Human Anatomy and Physiology class. If you recall, I didn't last long enough in that particular class to even turn in my first assignment. It was very clear, very quickly, that class wasn't for me (or probably for anyone working on their AA).
It's nice to have a couple of more classes behind me and to have earned six more credits toward my degree. If I can just apply myself a little more in my LSU independent study classes and get them knocked out, that will be six more credits. If I do that, then the biology class and lab will be the last four credits I'll need to get my AA and start forward on earning my BA in business.
The semester has also ended for my kids. They are very excited about getting into the holiday break from school as you can imagine. We will probably try to get away for a few days and enjoy a little bit of relaxation time. We're not far from the central Florida resort area, so I think we'll probably head over that way for a couple of nights and spend a few days kicking around one of the theme parks or hanging out at some of the other attractions.
