I finally turned in my Week 5 assignment today. I will take the quiz tomorrow before starting my final week in Managerial Economics. This week was nowhere nearly as tough as the last 4 have been because there were no quantitative analysis questions, only theoretical, which I can do all day long.
As for the school, they recently had a faculty newsletter/magazine go out that featured yours truly as the “Student Success Story”. I’m really flattered that they found me interesting enough to put a full page article on. As for the content, it’s pretty much the same as what eLearners has posted so I won’t bore you with the details but it is really nice being recognized by the university. Heck, at times in high school I had teachers for almost 2 years before they even knew my full name. So I guess now at least my instructors know who I am, though they did refrain from mentioning my blog which is good as I suspect that occasionally folks from Ashford University read it now and again. I kind of like being able to be completely objective (or at least independently opinionated) on my observations of the school, the curriculum, the faculty and my general overall experience. Can you believe it, but in 1 weeks time I will be officially at the half way point for my MBA. WOW! It seems like I started just yesterday however oddly enough it feels like I’ve been working on it forever.
By the way, if you are looking into taking the Managerial Economics class at Ashford University I strongly suggest you buy the exact book and edition as specified in the syllabus. All of our coursework have been questions right out of the text.
Wish me luck on Week 6. So far I have a 92% for the class and this is the make or break it week. My goal, a 4.0, but honestly just surviving an MBA is something to be proud of in of itself. Still, a 4.0 would be some seriously strong bragging rights…
