Vanessa is a 24-year-old stay-at-home mom, wife, military spouse, and veteran. She started her online education while she was still in the Navy. After receiving an honorable discharge, getting married, and having two beautiful girls in two years, she is still going strong with her education at Ashford University. She is currently doubling up on classes with hopes to attend graduation December 2009 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration.

This weekend I will submit my assignment wrapping up week 4. This means that next week will be my last of regular coursework before I am in week 6 where the final assignment will count for 30% of my overall grade for the course. Literally a make you or break you homework assignment. I am strongly considering getting a tutor to help me tune up some of the fine points of the past weeks concepts. I did find an online tutor for economics but I'm somewhat concerned about getting ripped off, if it I decide to go forward with it and it works out, I'll post my experience here.
Additionally I have thought about meeting with some local tutors in my area as it is literally inundated with universities, colleges and trade schools. There is bound to be a graduate tutor somewhere around here. My last avenue that I may try will be a couple of intense all night study sessions and taking a day or two off of work to wrap up my final assignment. I've done the latter a few times before and the downside is that it is so fatiguing that it can be hard to catch back up on your rest. As of now my class grade is 91%, which while that doesn't seem too low it is lower than I have been making by this time in my previous courses. Ideally I would like a 4.0 and will fight to maintain that GPA even though I don't believe that at this level there are honors recognition, it's more of a personal pride thing. I've never been a 4.0 GPA student before and it would be a nice personal goal to achieve.
Wish me luck.
