I have found 3 schools: US Career Institute, Ashworth College and Penn Foster.
I also found a training program by NPTA which is National Pharmacy Technician Association, they have a training program tuition $1,895.
My question is are the above 3 schools accredited by NPTA or ASHP and ACPE?
I didn't see where the NPTA lists accredited schools, but none of the three seem to be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education or the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Then again, I'm not sure how important that is for finding a job as a pharmacy tech. Maybe it's important, maybe not? I'd ask at pharmacies to see what they think.

I found this under accreditation on Penn Foster's website:
Additional Penn Foster Career School institutional and faculty memberships and affiliations include:
American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)
I was wondering is their a benefit to take the training on NPTA's website:
http://www.pharmacytechnician.org/institute
The tuition for NPTA is $1,895
or go with the Penn Foster/ Ashworth college, the tuition for PF and AC is around $600
I would still ask people in the actual industry what their take is on how important these specific accreditations really are.
